In our laboratory and that of our close collaborators (David Libon, Ph.D., Tania Giovannetti, Ph.D., Melissa Lamar, Ph.D), we are very interested in leukoaraiosis (LA) or white matter abnormalities and their role on dementia presentation. We have recently finished imaging and cognitive analyses on a large set individuals with dementia.
